Preview: Lady Michelle Austin shared some of her story of being impacted by Domestic Abuse & how she is giving back as the Founder & CEO for the non-profit Heal & Rebuild-Unbreakable Spirit, Inc.

Lady Michelle's bio in her own words. "Lady Michelle Jones-Austin is a Domestic Violence Advocate, Author, International Speaker & Visionary. She is the Founder and CEO of Heal & Rebuild-Unbreakable Spirit, Inc. (www.healandrebuild.com). This nonprofit 501c3 organization was established to support victims and survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, toxic relationships, and trauma. 

As a survivor turned THRIVER of child abuse and intimate partner violence… Lady Michelle is the voice for the voiceless. She gives a voice to those who are suffering in silence at the hands of their abuse. She offers a listening ear for the women and children at risk and is a true advocate who has not been afraid to take on the many challenges it takes to get them to safety.

Lady Michelle has been nominated for numerous awards such as: 2017 nomination for the Phi Beta Zeta Finer Woman of the Year; 2019 ACHI Award Woman of Influence, Author of the Year, and won the Community Leader of the Year. Through the 2020 pandemic Lady Michelle gave birth to the UNBREAKABLE Magazine to help support survivors of domestic violence. The UNBREAKABLE Magazine gives hope, empowerment, inspiration, and healing to those suffering in silence from all forms of abuse. She also is the creator of the monthly Women's Courageous Conversations Support group, which offers a safe and confidential space, along with providing trauma-informed education for survivors and their loved ones to transform their lives.

Lady Michelle has also spoken at international conferences such as Dubai and is on a mission to stop domestic violence one family at a time.
