Guests shared their perspectives on thankfulness

We thank the Lord for these seven guests who shared about thankfulness. We pray that when you listen to our discussions with them you are inspired, and blessed by what you hear and for you to reflect on what you're thankful for. 

Nathaniel D Goode is a Christian. Age 60. Divorced. Retired from the Railroad (32) years. Father of 6 and Grandpa of 5.

Josie Evans is a retired United States Army Chief Warrant Officer Four with over 20 years of distinguished service as an expert logistician. Throughout her military career, she demonstrated unparalleled leadership and dedication, serving in various capacities worldwide, including humanitarian missions, disaster relief efforts, and combat operations such as Operation Iraqi Freedom in Iraq and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Her exceptional service has earned her numerous prestigious awards, including the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star Medal.

Josie holds a bachelor’s degree in social psychology from Park University, a master’s in management with a concentration in Logistics from Florida Institute of Technology, and a master’s in psychology counseling with an emphasis in Rehabilitation from Alabama A&M University. She is pursuing a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy focusing on Theology, Her leadership and mentoring extend beyond her military career. She is an active Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. member and is involved in several women's empowerment groups. Josie's role as a respected motivational speaker, mentor, and life coach is a testament to her nurturing and supportive nature, empowering others through her insights and experiences.

Josie established the CW5 Julian A. Evans III Foundation in memory of her late husband, CW5 Julian A. Evans III, who passed away in July 2023 while serving in the line of duty. Through this foundation, Josie continues to honor her husband’s legacy by supporting initiatives that uplift the community, particularly in the areas of education and veteran support. 

Jerry Wilson, BALTIMORE MD. Large family, PROJECT HOME, WORK AND GETTING CLOSE TO GOD, AND DOING AND LOVE SPORTS. 

Jaqueline Hamilton is the business owner of Denton Project Management Consulting which assists businesses with their back-office operations.  DPMC’s motto is “We create operational solutions for businesses and non-profits looking to organize their internal processes, creating effective growth strategies with outsourced support.”  She currently lives in Colorado where she sees God’s majesty with the most beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains. She is the first of five children and the aunt to 2 nephews and 1 niece.

Omar Lewis, 42, of Lewes, Delaware, has one daughter, A’zaria Lewis. He is a small business owner and a current student at Delaware Technical College. He is a Living witness of what God can do and has done, and he is not finished yet!! 

Mona Meyers is 52 years old. Became a certified peer specialist in 2020. Started working for Project Home in 2021

Carlos & Dr. Carla Jones married for fourteen years and reside in Douglas, Georgia.
